FNB e-Statement FAQs

What are eStatements?
As an iBanking customer, when you sign up for eStatements you will begin receiving your account statement via email instead of in the postal mail. An email notification will be sent to you each month when your statement is available to view online.

Will I continue to receive my printed statement in the postal mail if I sign up for eStatements?
No, when you sign up for eStatements you will not receive a paper statement in the mail.

What accounts are eligible to receive eStatements?
eStatements are currently available for checking, savings, and ready reserve accounts for customers with an iBanking account.

Is there a cost associated with receiving eStatements?
No, eStatements are FREE to First National Bank iBanking customers.

Will my eStatement look the same as my printed statement?

Yes, your eStatement will look the same as your paper statements.

Can I have my eStatement notification sent to multiple e-mail addresses?
You can choose to send your eStatement notifications to two e-mail addresses per account.

Can I have my eStatement notification sent to an International e-mail address?
Yes, any current e-mail address can be used.

Is special software required to view my eStatement online?
No, you can view your eStatement in HTML format – the same format as any Internet web page. You also have the choice to view your eStatements in PDF or TXT format. If you choose to view your eStatements in PDF format, you will need Adobe Acrobat ReaderTM to view it. TXT format can be read with any word processing software, such as MSWordTM.

How secure are eStatements?
Absolutely secure. We don't send your actual statement through e-mail, instead we send you an e-mail notification that your eStatement is available to view online. You must then log on to our secure web site where your account information is protected by 128-bit encryption technology.

Who do I call if I have questions about my eStatement?
If you have any questions concerning your eStatement, please call our bank toll-free at 1-800-443-8605 or 507-534-3131 in the Plainview area.

How do I save my eStatements?
You can save your eStatements to a place on your computer; no matter which option you choose to view your eStatements. With the HTML version, use the save feature in your browser. With PDF, use the save function in Adobe Acrobat®. With a TXT version, use the save function in your word processor (e.g.: MSWord®).

What should I do if I don't receive my eStatement?
If you have not received an e-mail notifying you that your statement is available to view online, we may have an outdated e-mail address on file for you. Please log in to iBanking and click on "Options" then "Personal" to check your e-mail address and update if necessary. If your e-mail address is correct and you don't receive your eStatement, please call the bank at 1-800-443-8605 or 534-3131 in the Plainview area.

What if I sign up for eStatements and then decide I would like to receive paper statements again?
At any time you can return to paper statements. Log in to iBanking and click on the "Options" tab to turn eStatements on or off.

How do I change the e-mail address to which my eStatement notifications are sent?
At any time you can return to eStatements on our web site. Log in to iBanking and click on "Options" then "Personal". Here you can update the e-mail addresses to which your eStatements are being sent.

After I sign up, when can I expect to receive my first eStatement?
You will begin to receive eStatements and stop receiving paper statements with your next statement.

How will I know when my eStatement is available to view online?
You will receive an e-mail notification when your new eStatement is available to view online. This e-mail will contain a link to log on to the secure iBanking section of our web site. Once logged on, you will be directed to your most recent online statement.

How do I view my eStatement?
The e-mail notification will contain a link that will take you directly to the iBanking logon page. You may also access your eStatements at any time by logging on to your iBanking account and choosing "eStatements".

How do I print my eStatement?
To print your eStatement, click on the View Statement button on the Account Detail page and choose the Print button in your browser window.

How long will my eStatement be available to view online?
Checking, savings, and ready reserve accounts are available to view for up to 12 months of past statements online.
